The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture – IICA is the institution of the Inter-American System that provides technical cooperation, innovation and specialized knowledge to contribute to the competitive and sustainable development of agriculture in the Americas and to improve the lives of rural dwellers in the member countries.

The Caribbean Farmers Network (CaFAN), formed in 2004, is a regional network of Farmers’ Associations and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in the Caribbean. CaFAN’s major focus is to foster linkages, training and information sharing amongst Caribbean farmers so that they are in a better position to respond to the key challenges facing the agricultural sector in the Caribbean. CaFAN organises training workshops, advocacy, study tours, information sharing, regional planning sessions, and produces a variety of publications.
